1. OVERVIEW

Atredit (“Atredit,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a platform for uploading, viewing, rating, and interacting video content.

Atredit is currently available only to users located in the United States and the United Kingdom.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you access or use our website, mobile application, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).

2. ELIGIBILITY & SCOPE

Atredit is available only to users located in the United States and the United Kingdom.

Atredit is available to users aged 13 years and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

This Privacy Policy applies to personal information processed by WePlai LLC in connection with users located in the United States and the United Kingdom.

If you access the Services from outside these regions, you do so on your own initiative, and your information may not be afforded the same legal protections.

3. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

A. INFORMATION YOU PROVIDE

We may collect information you choose to provide, including:

  • Account Information: username, email address, date of birth (for age verification), profile image or avatar

  • Authentication Information: email address and/or phone number used for login or one-time passcodes (OTP)

  • User Content: videos, captions, comments, reports, and other content you submit

  • Communications: messages sent to support, feedback, surveys, or correspondence

Media Permissions

With your permission, Atredit may access:

  • Photo / Media Library: to allow you to select and upload content

  • Camera (optional): if you choose to record directly within the app

We access only the files you select. We do not scan or collect your entire media library. You can revoke permissions at any time in your device settings.

B. INFORMATION COLLECTED AUTOMATICALLY

When you use the Services, we may automatically collect:

  • Device & Usage Data: device type, operating system, app version, IP address, timestamps, crash logs, and performance data

  • Log & Event Data: interactions with content, ratings activity, moderation events, and security logs

  • Coarse Location Data: state-level location inferred from IP address (used for compliance and security only)

C. INFORMATION FROM SERVICE PROVIDERS

We receive limited information from service providers that help operate the platform, such as:

  • Hosting and infrastructure providers

  • Analytics and performance monitoring tools

  • Email and SMS delivery providers

  • Abuse prevention and security vendors

These providers process data on our behalf under contractual obligations.

4. HOW WE USE INFORMATION

We use personal information to:

  1. Operate and maintain the Services

5. USER-GENERATED CONTENT & PUBLIC VISIBILITY

Content you upload (such as videos, usernames, avatars, and comments) may be visible to other users.

Do not include personal information in content that you want to keep private.

Ratings are anonymous to other users, though we may retain internal logs for security, moderation, and fairness purposes.

6. MINORS (AGES 13–17)

We allow users aged 13–17 to use the platform.

For users aged 13–17:

  • We collect only the information necessary to operate the Services

  • We do not sell personal information

  • We limit data sharing to service providers necessary for platform operation

  • We avoid targeted advertising

Parents or guardians may contact us to exercise applicable privacy rights on behalf of a minor.

7. HOW WE SHARE INFORMATION

We may share personal information:

A. With Service Providers

To operate the platform (e.g., hosting, analytics, security, communications).

B. For Legal & Safety Reasons

When required to comply with law, enforce our policies, respond to valid legal requests, or protect users and platform integrity (including DMCA notices).

12. THIRD-PARTY LINKS

The Services may link to third-party websites or services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. We are not responsible for third-party privacy practices.

13. UK & EEA PRIVACY ADDENDUM

Effective Date: December 30, 2025

This UK & EEA Privacy Addendum applies to users located in the United Kingdom and, where applicable, the European Economic Area (EEA). It supplements the Atredit Privacy Policy and explains how WePlai LLC complies with applicable data protection laws, including the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR).

  • Legal Obligation – to comply with applicable laws, including intellectual property enforcement and regulatory requirements

You may withdraw consent at any time through your device or account settings, where applicable.

13.3. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS

Atredit is operated from the United States.

If you are located in the United Kingdom, your personal data will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in the UK.

WePlai LLC relies on appropriate safeguards to protect personal data during such transfers, including contractual protections and reasonable technical and organizational security measures.

By using the Services, you acknowledge and understand these transfers.

13.7. CONFLICTS

If there is any conflict between this UK & EEA Privacy Addendum and the main Privacy Policy, this Addendum controls for UK users.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide notice through the app or other reasonable means.

Continued use of the Services after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
