1. OVERVIEW

ATR (“ATR,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a platform for uploading, viewing, rating, commenting on, saving, showcasing, and competing with video content.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information when you access or use our website, mobile application, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).

ATR is operated by WePlai LLC, a Georgia limited liability company located in the United States.

2. ELIGIBILITY & SCOPE

ATR is available only to users who are 13 years of age or older and located in the United States, United Kingdom, European Union, European Economic Area, or any other country or region where we make the Services available.

This Privacy Policy applies to personal information processed by WePlai LLC in connection with users who access or use the Services.

ATR is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If you are located in the European Union or European Economic Area, certain countries may require parental or guardian consent for users under the applicable digital age of consent in that country. If such consent is required by law, you may use ATR only with the consent and supervision of your parent or legal guardian.

3. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

A. INFORMATION YOU PROVIDE

We may collect information you choose to provide, including:

  • Account Information: username, email address, date of birth or age information, country or region, profile image, avatar, bio, and profile details

  • Authentication Information: email address and/or phone number used for login, security, verification, or one-time passcodes

  • User Content: videos, edits, captions, comments, profile showcases, reports, and other content you submit or post

  • Contest and Game Information: contest entries, game mode participation, rankings, trophies, results, stats, player cards, rank level, season progress, and related competitive activity

  • Profile and Library Information: saved edits, favorite videos, showcased edits, past edits, past games, library items, and profile display preferences

  • Communications: messages sent to support, feedback, survey responses, reports, complaints, appeals, or other correspondence

Media Permissions

With your permission, ATR may access:

  • Photo / Media Library: to allow you to select and upload content

  • Camera: if you choose to record directly within the app

  • Microphone: if needed for recording video or audio directly within the app

We access only the files or features you choose to use. We do not scan or collect your entire media library. You can revoke device permissions at any time in your device settings.

B. INFORMATION COLLECTED AUTOMATICALLY

When you use the Services, we may automatically collect:

  • Device and Usage Data: device type, operating system, app version, IP address, device identifiers, timestamps, crash logs, diagnostics, and performance data

  • Log and Event Data: app opens, screen views, feature usage, feed activity, video views, watch history, scroll activity, rating activity, saves, favorites, comments, comment history, game participation, contest results, moderation events, and security logs

  • Content Interaction Data: videos viewed, ratings submitted, comments submitted, edits saved, favorites, profile visits, showcased edits, library activity, and interactions with feeds or contests

  • Feed and Recommendation Signals: information used to organize, rank, recommend, display, or distribute content, such as ratings, watch activity, saves, favorites, recency, content metadata, contextual groupings, safety signals, anti-abuse signals, and technical performance signals

  • Coarse Location Data: approximate location inferred from IP address, such as country, region, state, or city-level location, used for availability, compliance, safety, fraud prevention, analytics, and security

  • Push Notification Data: device tokens and notification preferences, if you enable push notifications

C. INFORMATION FROM SERVICE PROVIDERS

We may receive limited information from service providers that help operate the Services, such as:

  • Hosting and infrastructure providers

  • Analytics and performance monitoring tools

  • Email and SMS delivery providers

  • Authentication and security vendors

  • Abuse prevention and moderation vendors

  • Crash reporting and diagnostics providers

  • Customer support tools

  • App store, billing, or subscription providers, where applicable

These providers process information on our behalf or as otherwise described in their own terms and privacy policies.

4. HOW WE USE INFORMATION

We use personal information to:

  1. Operate, maintain, and provide the Services

  2. Create, authenticate, and manage user accounts

  3. Enable video uploads, viewing, rating, commenting, saving, favoriting, and profile features

  4. Operate contests, game modes, rankings, trophies, seasons, player cards, stats, and competitive features

  5. Provide libraries, past game history, watch history, comment history, saved edits, favorite videos, and profile showcases

  6. Organize, rank, recommend, and display content in feeds and other parts of the Platform

  7. Enforce platform rules, moderation decisions, Community Guidelines, Content Policy, and Terms of Service

  8. Detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, bots, manipulation, harassment, security threats, and platform integrity issues

  9. Respond to support requests, reports, appeals, complaints, and communications

  10. Improve performance, reliability, safety, design, and user experience

  11. Conduct internal analytics and product development

  12. Comply with legal obligations, including copyright, DMCA, data protection, consumer protection, safety, and regulatory obligations

  13. Protect the rights, safety, and interests of ATR, users, rights holders, and the public

We do not sell personal information.

We do not use personal information for targeted advertising or cross-context behavioral advertising.

5. USER-GENERATED CONTENT & PUBLIC VISIBILITY

Content you upload or submit may be visible to other users, including videos, edits, usernames, avatars, captions, profile information, showcased edits, rankings, trophies, player cards, stats, and other platform activity.

Do not include personal information in content that you want to keep private.

Ratings may be anonymous or not publicly attributed to other users, but we may retain internal logs of ratings for security, moderation, fairness, analytics, anti-abuse, and platform integrity purposes.

Comments may be anonymous or not publicly attributed to other users where the Platform offers anonymous commenting. Anonymous commenting does not mean your activity is anonymous to ATR. We may internally associate comments with your account for moderation, safety, legal compliance, anti-abuse, and platform integrity purposes.

If you showcase edits on your profile, such as your top 3 edits, those edits may be visible to other users.

If you save, favorite, comment on, rate, or watch content, that activity may be stored and may be visible to you in your profile tab, history, library, or related features. Some activity may also be used internally to operate the Services.

6. MINORS AND TEEN USERS

ATR is available only to users aged 13 and older.

For users aged 13–17:

  • We collect only information reasonably necessary to operate, secure, and improve the Services

  • We do not sell personal information

  • We do not use targeted advertising or cross-context behavioral advertising

  • We limit sharing to service providers and situations necessary for platform operation, safety, legal compliance, and user protection

  • We may apply additional safety, privacy, visibility, moderation, or content restrictions

  • We provide reporting and safety tools appropriate for younger users

Parents or guardians may contact us at support@atredit.com to exercise applicable privacy rights on behalf of a minor, subject to verification.

7. HOW WE SHARE INFORMATION

We may share personal information in the following ways:

A. With Service Providers

We may share information with vendors and service providers that help us operate the Services, including hosting, storage, analytics, security, moderation, communications, customer support, crash reporting, diagnostics, authentication, and infrastructure.

B. For Legal, Safety, and Platform Integrity Reasons

We may disclose information when we believe it is necessary to:

  • Comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or government request

  • Enforce our Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, Content Policy, DMCA Policy, or other policies

  • Respond to copyright, intellectual property, illegal content, safety, or rights-related reports

  • Detect, prevent, or investigate fraud, abuse, bots, manipulation, harassment, security incidents, or platform integrity issues

  • Protect the rights, safety, property, or interests of ATR, users, rights holders, or the public

C. Business Transfers

We may share or transfer information in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, bankruptcy, sale of assets, or similar business transaction, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.

D. With Your Direction or Consent

We may share information when you direct us to do so or provide consent.

E. Public or Platform Visibility

Some information is shared by design when you use the Platform, including content you upload, profile information, showcased edits, rankings, trophies, player cards, stats, comments, and other visible activity.

We do not sell personal information.

We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

8. DATA RETENTION

We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including:

  • Operating the Services

  • Maintaining user accounts

  • Providing contests, rankings, trophies, seasons, stats, player cards, libraries, histories, and profile features

  • Enforcing policies and resolving disputes

  • Preventing fraud, abuse, manipulation, and security threats

  • Complying with legal obligations

  • Maintaining business records and backups

Retention periods may include:

  • Account data: for the duration of the account plus a reasonable backup and legal compliance period

  • User Content: for as long as the content remains on the Platform or as otherwise needed for moderation, legal, backup, or compliance purposes

  • Contest, ranking, trophy, season, stats, and library data: for as long as needed to provide the Services, maintain historical records, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, or comply with law

  • Watch history, comment history, saved edits, and favorites: for as long as needed to provide user-facing features or until deleted, reset, or no longer needed

  • Moderation, safety, fraud, and security logs: typically up to 24 months, unless a longer period is reasonably necessary for legal, safety, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or compliance reasons

  • Legal compliance records: as required or permitted by law

Information may be anonymized or aggregated and used for analytics, safety, product development, and business purposes.

9. SECURITY

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information, including encryption in transit, access controls, monitoring, and security practices appropriate to the nature of the information.

No system is completely secure. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for using the Services safely.

10. YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS – UNITED STATES

Depending on your state of residence, including states such as California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and others, you may have rights to:

  • Correct inaccurate personal information

  • Request deletion of personal information

11. UK & EEA PRIVACY ADDENDUM

This UK & EEA Privacy Addendum applies to users located in the United Kingdom, European Union, and European Economic Area. It supplements the main Privacy Policy and explains how WePlai LLC processes personal data under applicable data protection laws, including the UK General Data Protection Regulation, the EU General Data Protection Regulation, and related data protection laws.

We process personal data to provide and operate the Services, including account creation, authentication, content uploads, video viewing, ratings, comments, saves, favorites, contests, rankings, trophies, seasons, player cards, library features, profile features, and support.

  • Maintain platform security

  • Prevent fraud, abuse, bots, manipulation, and harassment

  • Enforce platform rules and community standards

  • Moderate content and protect users

  • Improve functionality, performance, reliability, and user experience

  • Operate feeds, recommendations, rankings, and platform integrity systems

  • Protect the rights and safety of users, ATR, rights holders, and the public

We balance these interests against your rights and freedoms as required by law.

Consent

We rely on consent where required, including for optional device permissions, push notifications, certain cookies or tracking technologies, and certain processing for minors where applicable law requires parental or guardian consent.

You may withdraw consent at any time through device settings, account settings, or by contacting us, where applicable.

Legal Obligation

We process personal data when necessary to comply with legal obligations, including copyright and intellectual property obligations, data protection obligations, consumer protection laws, child safety obligations, law enforcement requests, regulatory requirements, and legal claims.

11.3 Special Category Data

We do not intentionally request or require users to provide special category data, such as information about health, race, ethnicity, political opinions, religion, sexual orientation, or biometric data.

Users should not include sensitive personal information in videos, comments, captions, profile content, or support messages unless necessary.

If users voluntarily submit sensitive information through User Content or communications, we may process it only as necessary to provide, moderate, secure, or comply with legal obligations related to the Services.

11.4 Automated Systems, Feeds and Recommendations

ATR may use automated systems and platform signals to organize, rank, recommend, display, moderate, or distribute content.

These systems may consider signals such as:

  • Ratings

  • Watch activity

  • Saves or favorites

  • Comments

  • Contest activity

  • Content metadata

  • Recency

  • Contextual grouping of edits

  • Safety and moderation signals

  • Anti-abuse signals

  • Technical performance

  • Randomization or fairness-related systems

These systems help us operate feeds, contests, rankings, safety systems, recommendations, and platform integrity features.

ATR does not make decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal effects concerning you or similarly significant effects, unless we provide notice and a lawful basis where required.

11.5 International Data Transfers

ATR is operated from the United States.

If you are located in the United Kingdom, European Union, or European Economic Area, your personal data may be transferred to and processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. These countries may have data protection laws that differ from those in your country.

11.8 Children and Teen Users – UK, EU and EEA

ATR is available only to users aged 13 and older.

For users under 18:

  • We may apply privacy-protective defaults, safety tools, reporting tools, moderation tools, and visibility restrictions

11.9 Conflicts

If there is any conflict between this UK & EEA Privacy Addendum and the main Privacy Policy, this Addendum controls for users located in the United Kingdom, European Union, or European Economic Area.

12. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

ATR is not intended for children under 13.

If we learn that personal information from a child under 13 has been collected, we will delete it promptly.

13. THIRD-PARTY LINKS AND SERVICES

The Services may link to third-party websites, apps, platforms, or services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

We are not responsible for third-party privacy practices.

If you access ATR through Apple, an app store, social platform, login provider, device feature, or other third-party service, that third party may process information according to its own terms and privacy policy.

14. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes are material, we may provide notice through the App, website, email, or other reasonable means.

Continued use of the Services after the effective date of an updated Privacy Policy constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy, where permitted by law.
