Atredit Content Moderation and Community Guidelines

Atredit is a community for creating, competing with, and giving feedback on video edits. These Guidelines explain the content and conduct we allow, how to report problems, and how to challenge a moderation decision. They apply to everyone using Atredit, including creators, viewers, resource sellers, and promotional partners.

Atredit is operated by WePlai LLC, a Georgia limited liability company. These Guidelines supplement our Terms of Service and Official Skill Contest Rules. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information. Mandatory legal rights prevail over inconsistent provisions.

1 Where these rules apply

These rules apply to videos, audio, thumbnails, captions, comments and creator replies, usernames, profile images, bios, player cards, showcases, and other user content. They also cover Daily Global, Quick Game, The Lab, polls and feedback, ratings, trophies, leaderboards, ATR Coin earning and gifting, cosmetics, resource listings and links, reports, appeals, and support communications.

Using an anonymous display or moving misconduct to an external link does not excuse conduct connected with Atredit that violates these rules. We assess relevant evidence and context rather than treating an allegation as proof.

Eligibility and age requirements are set out in the Terms. Do not misrepresent your age or location or bypass applicable restrictions.

2 Creative expression and respectful feedback

Creative edits, fair criticism, disagreement, parody, and competition are welcome within these rules. Critique the editing, storytelling, pacing, sound, or other creative choices without threatening or degrading the person who made them. An honest low rating or an unfavorable opinion is not, by itself, harassment or manipulation.

Context matters, including the purpose of an edit, its imagery and audio, captions, likely audience, and potential harm. A fictional, artistic, educational, or humorous label does not automatically make prohibited content acceptable. We consider freedom of expression and other applicable rights when enforcing these Guidelines.

3 Content and conduct we prohibit

Child exploitation and endangerment

Do not post, solicit, distribute, link to, or facilitate child sexual abuse material, sexualized depictions of minors, grooming, sexual comments directed at minors, or sexual exploitation. This includes prohibited depictions that are fictional, animated, altered, or AI-generated. Do not use gifts, resources, influence, or competition opportunities to pressure a minor into sexual activity, secrecy, or exploitative contact.

Do not threaten, deliberately expose private information about, or encourage serious harm to a child. We remove child exploitation content, take appropriate account action, and make reports and preserve evidence where required by law. Do not download, copy, or attach suspected child sexual abuse material to a report; identify its location instead.

Sexual content and intimate privacy

Pornography, sexually explicit material, nudity intended for sexual gratification, sexual services promotions, sexual coercion, and exploitation are prohibited. Do not share or threaten to share non-consensual intimate imagery, including sexual deepfakes or other fabricated intimate depictions. Consent to create an image is not automatically consent to publish it.

Non-explicit suggestive content is assessed in context, including its suitability for younger users. It may be removed where it is sexualized, exploitative, or otherwise unsuitable under these Guidelines. Do not assume that a mature-content warning permits it.

Hate and targeted abuse

Do not attack, dehumanize, threaten, or advocate discrimination or violence against people based on characteristics such as race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, caste, sex, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, or disability. Hateful slurs and imagery used to promote such attacks are prohibited.

Do not bully, stalk, blackmail, sexually harass, or coordinate abuse against another person. This includes repeated degrading comments, threats, impersonation intended to deceive, and encouraging others to target someone. These restrictions apply equally to anonymous comments and creator replies. Criticism of a public figure or an idea is assessed in context; public visibility does not remove protection against threats or abuse.

Violence and dangerous conduct

Do not post real-world extreme gore, torture, mutilation, severe injury used for shock or gratification, abuse of people or animals, or content celebrating real victims' suffering. Credible threats, calls for violence, terrorist recruitment or support, and instructions facilitating serious violence are prohibited.

Do not encourage dangerous challenges, serious self-endangerment, weapon misuse, or acts likely to cause serious injury. Do not facilitate trafficking, illegal sales of drugs or weapons, or other unlawful transactions. Ordinary fictional depictions are assessed under section 4.

Self harm and eating disorders

Do not encourage, instruct, glorify, or promote suicide, self-harm, eating disorders, or dangerous weight-control practices. Do not target someone with encouragement to harm themselves or use humiliating body-focused content to promote harmful behavior.

Responsible recovery, support, educational, and awareness content may be allowed when it avoids graphic details, methods, or encouragement. Atredit is not an emergency service. If someone faces immediate danger, contact local emergency services rather than relying on an in-app report.

Privacy and deception

Do not expose private addresses, contact details, financial information, credentials, intimate information, or other sensitive personal information without a lawful basis. Do not solicit such information through Lab polls or comments, or publish it to shame, threaten, or locate someone.

Do not impersonate Atredit staff, another creator, a business, or a public authority to deceive people. Harmfully misleading edits, fabricated endorsements, scams, phishing, malware, and false health or emergency claims likely to cause serious harm are prohibited. Clearly contextualized parody and fictional storytelling may be allowed. AI or editing tools do not excuse deception, exploitation, or infringement.

Intellectual property

Upload and list only material you have the rights or another lawful basis to use. Do not falsely claim authorship, redistribute stolen editing packs, or use another person's work or identity in an infringing or misleading way. Credit alone does not replace permission where permission is required. Buying a pack or course does not automatically authorize every use or resale of its contents.

Lawful exceptions, including applicable fair use or fair dealing, are assessed under the relevant law; an edit is not automatically lawful merely because it is short, transformative in appearance, or noncommercial. Copyright notices and counter-notices are handled under our DMCA and content-rights procedures. Contact Support@atredit.com for assistance locating them. Repeat infringement may lead to account termination in appropriate circumstances.

4 Movie edits and other contextual material

Movie, television, anime, gaming, sports, music, and horror edits may include fictional conflict or mature themes. Stylized or cinematic violence may be allowed when the presentation does not breach our rules on graphic harm, threats, exploitation, hate, or child safety. Fictional origin alone does not permit extreme graphic material.

We assess the intensity, realism, duration, framing, and likely audience of sensitive material. News, documentary, artistic, or educational context is relevant but does not guarantee acceptance. Lawful political discussion, controversial opinions, or dark humor are not prohibited solely because someone disagrees with them.

We may remove material that is unsuitable for the audience or otherwise violates these rules. This section does not promise that Atredit offers a separate adult-only feed, age-gated hosting, or a content-labeling feature.

5 Comments and The Lab

The same standards apply to viewer comments, creator replies, Lab uploads, poll questions, and poll responses. Give feedback honestly. Do not use a poll to target or humiliate someone, collect sensitive information, promote prohibited goods, or organize abuse.

Viewers may comment without their identity being displayed to other users. Creator replies may identify the creator. Anonymous display does not make activity anonymous to Atredit: we may associate it with an account for moderation, security, and other purposes described in the Privacy Policy. Do not try to expose anonymous participants through threats, deception, or private-data disclosure.

The Lab is for noncompetitive feedback. Its ratings, polls, and charts do not create a contest prize entitlement or guarantee representative results. Do not fabricate responses, organize rating rings, or manipulate feedback statistics.

6 Fair competition and platform integrity

Rate edits honestly based on your assessment of the work. Do not use bots, fake accounts, scripts, vote trading, purchased ratings, coordinated downrating, or other arrangements to manufacture a result. Do not offer or request coins, money, packs, promotion, or other benefits in return for favorable ratings, adverse ratings of a rival, or a particular poll response.

Inviting people to view an edit is not automatically misconduct. Directing or rewarding them to manipulate ratings or target someone is prohibited. Earning coins through legitimate rating and commenting is allowed; automated activity, meaningless repeated comments, and exploit use to farm rewards are not.

Do not manipulate trophies, leaderboards, resource placement, or other statistics; bypass contest entry limits; evade justified restrictions; or exploit technical faults. Report suspected vulnerabilities to support without exploiting them or exposing other users' information.

The Official Skill Contest Rules govern scoring, tie-breaks, entry limits, and awards. Daily Global and Quick Game use total-star scoring under those Rules. Moderation does not create a discretionary power to favor a particular entrant. Fame, paid-partner status, purchases, and coin gifts do not exempt anyone from these standards.

7 ATR Coins and cosmetics

Buy, earn, spend, and gift ATR Coins only through authorized Atredit features. Do not sell or broker coins or cosmetics for external value, use coins as payment for outside resources, impersonate support to obtain a transfer, or promote unauthorized coin generators, cash-out schemes, or fraudulent giveaways.

Do not pressure someone to buy or gift coins, threaten retaliation for refusing, or use gifts to buy favorable treatment. Gifts sent through a competition-feed video do not display the sender's identity to the recipient through that gift. Gifts sent through a player card identify the sender to the recipient. Neither route makes the transaction anonymous to Atredit.

Suspected fraudulent rewards, transfers, or purchases may be investigated and corrected proportionately under the Terms. A good-faith refund request, payment dispute, or exercise of consumer rights is not abuse. An unrelated moderation violation does not automatically forfeit legitimately purchased coins or cosmetics. Any restriction affecting paid access remains subject to the Terms and mandatory law.

8 Resource listings and external links

Atredit's resource showcase links to resources offered by independent editors, including editing packs, sound effects, and courses on Payhip. Purchases occur outside Atredit. Atredit receives no listing fee or commission and is not the seller or payment processor for those purchases.

Listings must use accurate thumbnails, prices, currencies, and links. Do not advertise stolen resources, malware, prohibited material, deceptive offers, fabricated endorsements, or products you lack authority to advertise. Do not switch a listed link to a harmful or materially different destination or conceal important restrictions on a resource's use.

Use the designated listing and profile features responsibly. Relevant resource promotion through those features is allowed; repetitive unsolicited advertising or spam in comments and polls is not. Disclose paid endorsements or other material commercial relationships where required by law.

Resource placement currently reflects the editor's season trophies. Placement is not an endorsement, quality certification, or guarantee of the seller. Manipulating trophies to improve placement is prohibited. We may remove an offending listing or link even though the sale itself happens elsewhere. Report scams and listing violations to Support@atredit.com; contact the seller or relevant external service about delivery, licensing, or refunds for an external purchase. Reporting to us does not replace your rights against those parties.

9 Reporting problems

You can report videos and comments using the in-app reporting controls. For other concerns, including profiles, creator replies that lack a report control, Lab polls, resource listings, gifts, or account conduct, email Support@atredit.com. You may also use email if an in-app report is unavailable or you need to provide further context.

Identify the content or account, where to find it, what happened, and why you believe it violates these Guidelines or the law. Include a content identifier, link, username, date, or screenshot where available and appropriate. Do not send passwords, full payment-card details, or copies of illegal sexual material. You do not have to identify an anonymous commenter to report their comment.

Atredit currently does not offer a user-to-user blocking control. Report unwanted or abusive interactions so our team can assess them and take appropriate moderation action. Reporting does not itself guarantee that an account will be suspended or that every interaction will immediately stop.

Reports are reviewed by our team. We assess urgency and the nature of the concern, including risks to children and credible threats. A report made honestly is not a violation simply because we disagree with it. Deliberately fabricated reports, coordinated misuse of reporting, and harassment through complaints may lead to proportionate restrictions without preventing valid legal complaints.

Notices of illegal content

Anyone may report suspected illegal content. Explain why you believe it is unlawful and identify its exact location as precisely as the App permits. Include your name and email address unless an applicable legal exception permits omission, and a statement that you believe the information is accurate and complete. You may use the email subject line "Illegal Content Notice"; a particular subject line is not a condition of review.

We assess sufficiently detailed notices in a timely, diligent, objective, and non-arbitrary manner. We may request necessary clarification and communicate receipt, a decision, and available remedies where required. Applicable exceptions to identification requirements, including those concerning certain child sexual abuse reports under EU law, remain available.

10 How we moderate

We use automated tools to scan videos and comments and manually review user reports. Automated scanning can miss violations or flag content incorrectly; it is not a guarantee that all content is safe, lawful, or reviewed by a person before publication. We also consider relevant information supplied through support and rights-holder notices.

Decisions take account of the content and context, seriousness, potential harm, evidence, user age where relevant, repeated conduct, applicable law, and effects on competition or other users. We do not treat the number of reports alone as proof of a violation. Moderation-related personal information is handled under the Privacy Policy.

Depending on the circumstances, we may take no action, give a warning, remove content or a listing, restrict a feature or visibility, invalidate affected ratings or rewards, disqualify an entry, correct trophies or standings, suspend an account, or terminate it. We use proportionate measures connected to the violation. Serious exploitation, credible threats, major fraud, or other urgent risks may justify immediate action without a prior warning.

Removal may affect copies displayed in feeds, saved items, favorites, histories, libraries, or profile showcases. Corrections to contest results may also affect awards and season-trophy resource placement. We do not arbitrarily remove unrelated purchased items or use moderation to bypass payment protections.

We give users a reason when removing their content or suspending their account. Where applicable, notices explain the relevant rule or legal basis, scope and duration of the restriction, use of automated means, and how to challenge the decision. Information may be limited where lawful and necessary to protect people, comply with legal restrictions, or preserve an investigation. Required notices and rights remain available.

We may preserve relevant evidence and cooperate with competent authorities as required or permitted by law. Retention is governed by the Privacy Policy and applicable law, not an unlimited right to keep all moderation information.

11 Appeals and complaints

To challenge a moderation decision, email Support@atredit.com, optionally using the subject "Moderation Appeal". Include your username, the decision or affected content, why you believe it was wrong, and supporting context or evidence. You can also complain about our handling of a report, failure to act on a safety concern, or an inappropriate use of automated tools.

A member of our team reviews appeals and relevant evidence. We may uphold, reverse, or correct the decision and explain the outcome. Where an error is established, we take appropriate corrective action, which may include restoring content or access or correcting affected records where possible. An appeal does not guarantee a change in result.

You do not have to pay to submit an appeal. We do not impose a general 24-hour deadline for moderation appeals. The requested prompt-reporting period in the contest rules does not cut off statutory complaint rights or prevent a later report of an issue that could not reasonably have been identified earlier.

Where applicable law requires an internal complaint-handling procedure, its eligibility, time limits, and procedural protections apply, including required human supervision. Where Article 20 of the EU Digital Services Act applies, eligible complaints may be submitted for at least six months after the relevant decision is notified and are not decided solely through automated means. This does not limit any longer right provided by law.

Where applicable law provides access to a certified out-of-court dispute settlement body for an eligible moderation dispute, that route remains available. Internal review does not remove your right to seek a court remedy, contact a competent regulator, or exercise other statutory rights. The availability of particular regional procedures depends on the law applicable to the service and decision.

12 Changes and contact

These Guidelines govern content and community conduct. The Terms govern general use and purchases, the Official Skill Contest Rules govern contest mechanics, our copyright procedures govern rights notices and counter-notices, and the Privacy Policy explains personal-data processing. These Guidelines do not expand the content licence granted in the Terms or override mandatory legal rights in any region where Atredit is offered.

We may update these Guidelines for changes in features, community needs, safety, or law. We will give reasonable notice of material changes where required and explain when they take effect. Urgent legal or safety changes may require shorter notice. We seek agreement where required; continued use has contractual effect only where legally valid.
