1. PURPOSE & SCOPE

ATR is a user-generated content platform designed for creative competition, video discovery, rating, commenting, saving, showcasing, and community interaction around video edits and other eligible video content.

These Content Moderation & Community Guidelines (“Guidelines”) explain what content and behavior are allowed, what is prohibited, and how moderation decisions may be handled.

By using ATR, you agree to comply with these Guidelines, the ATR Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Official Skill-Contest Rules, DMCA & Content Rights Policy, Billing & Subscription Policy, and all applicable laws.

Failure to comply may result in content removal, reduced visibility, restricted features, invalidated contest results, loss of trophies, rank adjustments, player card restrictions, account suspension, or permanent removal from the Platform.

2. WHERE THESE GUIDELINES APPLY

These Guidelines apply to all user content, activity, and interactions on ATR, including:

  • Videos and edits;

  • Audio;

  • Images and thumbnails;

  • Captions;

  • Comments, including anonymous comments;

3. CORE MODERATION PRINCIPLES

Our moderation approach is guided by the following principles:

  1. Creative freedom with responsibility
    ATR is built for creativity, competition, experimentation, and expression. Users are encouraged to create and compete, but must do so responsibly and within the law.

  2. Safety and legality first
    Content must not cause harm, exploit others, violate the law, or expose users, especially younger users, to serious safety risks.

  3. Fair competition
    Manipulation, deception, bots, brigading, harassment, fake engagement, and abuse undermine ATR’s competitive environment.

  4. Platform integrity
    ATR may take action to protect contests, ratings, trophies, rankings, feeds, comments, libraries, profiles, and the overall integrity of the Platform.

  5. Platform neutrality
    ATR hosts user content but does not endorse, pre-approve, or guarantee the accuracy, legality, quality, ownership, or safety of user content.

  6. Proportionate moderation
    Where appropriate, ATR may consider context, severity, intent, repeat behavior, user safety, legal obligations, and platform integrity when deciding what action to take.

  7. UK, EU AND EEA SAFETY STATEMENT

ATR is committed to providing a safe and responsible online environment for users in the United Kingdom, European Union, and European Economic Area, in accordance with applicable online safety, consumer protection, data protection, and digital services laws.

As a user-generated content platform, ATR focuses on identifying, reducing, and responding to illegal, harmful, abusive, infringing, or manipulative content while preserving creative expression and fair participation.

In support of these objectives, ATR may:

  • Maintain clear rules prohibiting illegal, harmful, exploitative, abusive, or infringing material;

  • Provide reporting tools for users to report content, comments, accounts, and behavior;

  • Use a combination of automated systems, human review, user reports, trusted reports, and platform signals;

  • Remove, restrict, demote, disable, age-restrict, region-restrict, or otherwise moderate content;

  • Take account-level enforcement where appropriate;

  • Apply additional safeguards for younger users;

  • Provide appeal or complaint-handling options where required by applicable law;

  • Update our safety practices as legal requirements and platform standards evolve.

ATR does not pre-approve all user content and does not endorse content posted by users. Users are responsible for the content they upload, submit, comment, showcase, or otherwise make available.

4. USER RESPONSIBILITY FOR CONTENT

You are solely responsible for any content you upload, submit, post, comment, showcase, or make available on ATR.

By uploading or submitting content, you represent that:

  • You own the content or have sufficient legal rights, licenses, permissions, or legal basis to use it;

  • Your content does not infringe copyrights, trademarks, publicity rights, privacy rights, or other third-party rights;

  • Your content does not violate applicable law;

  • Your content complies with these Guidelines and all ATR policies;

  • Your content is not intended to manipulate contests, ratings, trophies, rankings, comments, saves, feeds, or other Platform systems.

ATR does not pre-screen all content for legality, ownership, or rights clearance. We rely on user responsibility, rights-holder notices, user reports, automated tools, and moderation systems.

7. ANONYMOUS COMMENTS AND COMMUNITY INTERACTIONS

ATR may allow users to leave comments anonymously or without publicly displaying their identity to other users.

Anonymous commenting does not mean your activity is anonymous to ATR. We may internally associate anonymous comments with your account, device, session, IP information, or other signals for moderation, safety, legal compliance, anti-abuse, and platform integrity.

14. REPEAT VIOLATIONS

Users who repeatedly violate these Guidelines or other ATR policies may face escalating enforcement, up to and including permanent removal from ATR.

Repeat copyright infringement is addressed separately under the DMCA & Content Rights Policy.

We may consider repeat violations across multiple types of conduct, including content violations, comment abuse, rating manipulation, false reporting, account evasion, harassment, or contest abuse.

15. APPEALS

Your appeal should include:

16. EU/EEA OUT-OF-COURT DISPUTE SETTLEMENT

Where required by applicable EU law, EU/EEA users may have the right to select a certified out-of-court dispute settlement body to resolve certain disputes relating to moderation decisions.

The decision of an out-of-court dispute settlement body may not be binding unless applicable law provides otherwise.

17. RECORDKEEPING

ATR may retain content, reports, appeals, moderation logs, ratings, comments, contest records, security logs, account signals, and other relevant information for safety, legal compliance, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, abuse prevention, and platform integrity purposes.

Retention is governed by the ATR Privacy Policy.

18. PLATFORM DISCRETION

ATR reserves the right to interpret and enforce these Guidelines and to update them as needed to reflect evolving legal, safety, product, or community standards.

Nothing in these Guidelines creates a right to have content hosted, distributed, restored, ranked, featured, saved, showcased, or preserved.
